Victory Ministers Association is the implementing arm of the Victory Philippines Apostolic Team, and exists to foster the spiritual growth and development, oversee the effective functioning, and promote the general well-being of the ministers of Victory.
Functions
- Defining the qualifications of aspiring as well as current vocational ministers of the gospel among Victory churches
- Assisting local churches in the identification and selection of potential vocational minister candidates for further training with the Victory and Every Nation Schools of Ministry
- Overseeing the validation, ordination, and appointment of ministers to their specific assignments in the different local churches
- Providing opportunities for further development of ministry and other essential skills of the ministers in coordination with Victory and Every Nation Schools of Ministry
- Promoting unity, mutual encouragement, and faith among the member ministers through regular gatherings such as retreats and conferences
- Mediating and resolving conflicts among ministers or between ministers and local church leaders, staff and/or members
- Upholding and preserving doctrinal orthodoxy among the member ministers as expressed in the VMA statement of faith
- Overseeing the governance, process of discipline, and restoration of erring ministers
- Providing information, training, and advice to ministers in administering their personal affairs, such as finances, health, marriage, and family relationships among others
- Supporting and upholding the integrity and reputation of the ministers as representatives of the Lord Jesus Christ and of Victory to the general public
